ARIRANG is the representative Korean Folk song. You can hear some pieces of Arirang sung by Lee Kwang-soo well known for four-member percussion group <SamulNori>  Do you know what means Uri-Sori, the title of this page? 'Uri' means 'we' or 'our', and 'Sori' means 'sound' or 'music'. We call Arirang or Pansori the Korean folk music, but I don't like this title. Now I hope it become not 'Korean music' but 'your music'... |
